There's nothing wrong with not adding new watches or desiring anything new. I've gotten to the point with multiple collecting hobbies (including watches and custom knives) where I don't feel the need to add anything new. I'm perfectly content with the 7 I have and wear in rotation. You can still enjoy contributing to the forums or reading posts without making any "Check out my new ___________" posts.
Just enjoy what you've got until something comes along at the right time that you want to get. I hadn't bought a new watch in years until recently when I saw a black dial Oyster Perpetual 39 preowned on my favorite AD's website. Had an old Omega Aqua Terra that wasn't being worn anymore and made a trade deal plus a little cash for the OP. Once again, I'm perfectly content with what I've got and am enjoying wearing them in rotation. |
