I am a proponent of buying pre-owned, but if I could get 30% off on Sports models, now you are talking. $4,200 for s SS Sub Date? Hmmm, maybe. SS Daytona, that's a different story. But then again, I'd still rather save money and buy pre-owned.

went to local AD yesterday in Tysons Mall...asked about holiday discounts, not one penny SA said...I said other AD are offering 20-25% out of state and will ship to me...wanted to know which stores. changed his view and said he could ask his mgr, but will probably only get 10% off the subs i was looking at.....prices were $6k sub date/no date, LV $6400, GMTIIC $7k...

think i will wait and get the best %discount to get my next rollie.

wow.. 30 off!

that's a new explorer 2 for about 4 grand or a new no-date sub for $3100... you can't get a nice used one for that.

I believe 20% off at any AD on a SS is a great deal. I wouldn't listen to all the hype of greater discounts then that and if there are they are most likely on slow selling watches.

I just got offered 20 off SS plus warranty and other freebies. My AD would even order the watch I want for me. I will definitely go there when I'm ready. : )

30% off SS models would be huge! That is entering the Omega discount range.

But sounds like a few people here are already getting some pretty good discounts.

I always thought 5-10% on SS, 10-15% on TT, 15-20% on solid gold/plat, 20%+ once you start adding stones, was the norm, but looks like things are changing in a big way.

My AD offered a GMTIIc at 25% off making it $6105 CDN/$5781 USD. I'd rather get 30% off though ;)

These are great discounts. I had to work very hard to get a 15% discount on my GMT IIC. You don't find discounts like that in the NY area.

I'm surprised that there are such high discounts off of SS sports watches. But good for those who can get them.

I wonder if discounts become too standard on Rolex if the retail will just become number. For other watches, Tag, Omega, Breightling, you just expect some type of discount. But for the longest time, Rolex and Cartier were "no discounts allowed" although this was never strictly true it seemed like it was the policy. Rolex never went "on sale".

In the past Rolex has done a good job on keeping the retail price meaningful, I hope they do not get away from this.

I think you would be better off using one of the TRF sellers.

Send a PM to Mosco or DavidSW.

My AD just closed one of their stores and sent announcements
that they were again family working with family.they also said
they had to move inventory to thier other store and there are
many discounts. Wish I had some cash.

i doubt it if any AD can give 30% discount to any rolex models.expect more increase actually for sure.rolex is actually cheap compare to the other luxury/premium brands.
