Congratulations! I was on the list for the SD43 but purchased a Deepsea D-Blue and couldn't be happier! In fact, while I love my 16600, its not getting much wrist time. The D-Blue size is just too perfect for me. Enjoy!

I would say it really depends on your wrist size and whether you plan to wear it with cuffed shirts.
I'm 5'10" 185lbs and have a 7.75" wrist. I personally love the SD43 but it's a little big for me to wear with a dress shirt. Now, if you like the presence of a bigger watch then, by all means, go for it. Having the date function is more useful than most think. |

I love the 126600, but if you plan to wear the watch daily I would go with the sub which is lighter and easier to wear.

Congratulations on the D-Blue!
I hope you enjoy the DSSD, it's an excellent piece of hardware for sure. |

I would. I use the date function and enjoy the heft. However, both are appealing in their own way.

I had both subc and hulk and even a 14060m but i couldnt get pass the lugs and a few other issues, long story short i sold all and got a sd43 with a few other modern rollies with slimmer lugs ie sd4k amd expy1, and i cant be happier. I do miss the 14060m quite a bit though.
The heft of the sd43 is noticeable but that's what I like about, its very personal i must say. |

Ughh.. going through this decision myself... I'm about to pick a 114060 from my AD but not sure if I should just pick a SD43 Mk1 preowned instead.
My wrist size is about 7.5 in. I can wear my 216570 Explorer II 42mm very comfortably. I had a GMT LN that at times felt too small. |

Mi daily was a 116610LN, then I added the SD43 and was the best move I ever did. My beloved 116610 is in the safe always. The SD43 is the most perfect modern Rolex diver, is my 24/7 daily/night watch.

I have a 7.25 inch wrist. To me the sd43 wears perfect and the submariner date wears small on my wrist. So if I had a 8-9 inch wrist the sd43 would be the minimum watch I would look at because it does wear smaller. The wider bracelet is the real difference imo. It makes the watches proportions perfect imo. I have the sub date and the sd43. If I had to choose only one it would be the sd43 all day. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
