The AP looks so busy. The Rolex is classically restrained yet informative. And a bit clever.

But then I would say that, wouldn't I?

The top one is just plain comical and no doubt comes at a comical price to go with it.

You can’t beat the class of the SkyD, especially in this duo.

Come on Rolex enthusiasts, I Can understand AP may not be your cup of tea but calling it Fugly, a product of a gum-ball machine is outrageous!

I'm amazed at the number of people choosing the Sky - then again it is a Rolex forum.

AP by a mile.

The correct WIS answer is “both”. Everyone needs good strap watch and a good bracelet watch. I am concerned with AP service cost and their accuracy standards with their movements. I expect a lot at a certain price point as I still demand them to be accurate little mechanical machines and not just pretty jewelry.

As much as I like the caliber 9001 movement of the SkyDweller, I don't like the way it looks, as it looks like a large Datejust.

I'd have to go with AP for this one. Get something that looks unique, not another watch with an Oyster case.

Both, of course... but a black dial SkyD would have me leaning that way...

AP looks sooo cartoonish. We are going to look back 10 years from now and wonder why people paid so much for that style AP. Rolex is a timeless design.

The Sky Dweller.

I won't buy a chronograph where the sub-dials have been "hole sawed' through the numbers.

Sky-D. Funny thing is that I love the blues and oranges that Omega does with Planet Oceans. Hate it on the AP.
