Love to see any Cartier open worked skeletons or new asymmetric pics from any owners?

They are not really my style but there’s no question that Cartier makes beautiful and elegant watches. I always thought that they looked particularly good on women (much more so than Rolex’s ladies’ models, I might add).

All black. Looks amazing and it’s super comfortable on the wrist. Cartier calls it ADLC. Here are more pics to give you that extra push to pull the trigger:)

That's a beauty! Their discontinued Privee Collection pieces were exceptional. The Tortue Monopoussior is beautiful and a great piece of horological engineering. Enjoy it!

I am a fan from afar, but have yet to find the one that I am really ready to pull the trigger on. Santos and Tank (Louis or MC) are the most appealing to me.

Great brand. Would love to one day own a two-tone Cartier Santos.

I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it again.

I wish people would stop referring to the Tank (or any Cartier, for that matter) as a ladies watch . Many men have worn them and continue to wear them, and at best they could be considered a unisex watch. And yes I own one (although I doubt I'll be wearing it on a lavender strap).

Well...if you ask the majority, when you think of Cartier in general its associated with women

That’s a very primitive point of view for so many reasons

Well, good to see a couple of responses from New Yorkers .

I live in Missouri but am a New Yorker by birth and upbringing. And as they say, you can take the boy out of New York but you can't take New York out of the boy.

Or girl, for that matter.

I am feeling drawn to Cartier particularly a preowned Roadster XL chrono to give my collection some diversity. As a brand Cartier Is stylish, iconic, with a history to die for what’s not to like?

Tried this large Santos chrono today, and was unimpressed. No lume. Extremely low quality (flimsy) rubber strap. Just really didn’t like anything about it.

Then tried on medium time/date Santos, which I thought would look too small, but it fit well actually on my 7.5” wrist. Bracelet felt substantial and comfortable. Doesn’t look too small at all. Good lume.

Looking very, very hard at a Santos as my next watch. I’ve come to realize that I place a lot of value in a high-quality bracelet and I’ve read very good things about the Santos bracelet. One thing I really like about the Santos bracelet aesthetically is that it is unique-looking without being too “blingy.”

I am really surprised they put a new movement in the Ballon Bleu that only has 40hr power reserve. They’ve been having a nice run and this seems like an unforced error on a great line

Cartier Santos large with white dial is one of those watches I really like a lot, but when it comes to actually buying one, I always pass.

3 pages and not one mention of the iconic Cartier Crash? One of the most incredible and unique watches made. Would love to own one someday, impossible to find.

I’ve owned a Cartier Santos for many years as my under the radar watch. Very versatile and the quick strap change is very easy to use - besides have to constantly changing the buckle.

Agree on the lavender strap!

Anyone have a great resource for replacement strap options (OEM and otherwise) for our Cartiers?

I've got a Santos that pre-dates some of the newer black models shown here......pretty sure it's the earlier model.

Here's another from their Collection Privee, a recently acquired used Tortue 8 Jours.

The 8-days power reserve is amazing and incredibly accurate, just +5 seconds after a week. Thanks to its JLC movement I believe.
