Looks like this guy has similar wrist size to mine!

As I mentioned above, I’ve talked to the AD and he’s gonna let me know when he gets one.

I’ll keep y’all updated

Thanks !

Do you still have it or did you sell it? How do you think the bluesy wears on your wrist? When I was picking up my HULK they had a bluesy in the case. I always liked them but I’m not a huge two tone sports Rolex fan even though they do it the best in the business. Maybe id get a CHNR if I could ever try one on in person. I save the flash for my dressier watches.

I sold it.

Allow me to explain.

The bluesy was my first Rolex. When browsing the website, I just picked what to me was the most beautiful watch, and bought it.

I didn’t take versatility, flashiness or any of that into consideration, and I wanted a watch that I could wear daily.

After a few months of wearing it, I started to realize that the watch was a little too flashy for everyday wear, given my personal style, so I sold it.

The watch wore well, although I was kind of obsessed with the glide lock feature and would mess with it almost every day.

However, having a super jubilee bracelet now, I feel like the jubilee is a lot more comfortable than the oyster, although I do admit, I miss the extra security of the “flip lock” on the oyster bracelet for the submariner

Explorer II is a beautiful watch no matter what size it is.

Oddly enough I think my DJ is more flashy and slightly less versatile on jubilee. But the bluesy is flashy in its own way. In the end buy what you like. I think a GMT on jubilee might be your perfect watch or a sub to match with your DJ36.

I'd say that the 16570 is a better option for your wrist size from my experience of owning one!

My wrist is 6.75 inches

Do you think I can pull it off? My daily is a 36mm Datejust

Also, does the explorer 2 wear a lot bigger than a 6 digit submariner?

Lastly, post any pics of your explorer 2!
I had a modern Sub and, also, E2 (42mm).

E2 wears bigger than the Sub. It wears big, like a Panerai.
If I were you Id stay with 36-40mm range. I sold the E2 'cos it always felt too big for me, although I liked it a lot.

My wrist size is pretty much same as yours.

On a 6.8 inch wrist. I found it absolutely acceptable size wise

I’m on the waiting list for a SS GMT, but seeing the Explorer 2 on someone’s wrist...

It made me realize how nice of a watch it is with the fully brushed bracelet, and brushed non-rotating bezel

With its low profile case, slender lugs and smaller twinlock crown I think you'd like it. I find it more comfy than my Sub as well. Truly a one of a kind piece

I'm about the same wrist size 6.7ish and it's the largest watch I own. I think it looks good. I've been tempted to sell it for the later 5-digit white dial for a change.

The close up photos always make them look a little magnified vs seeing the watch on in person. When it arrives with your AD only you can be the judge

I agree with this...I have 7.25 wrist and definitely wouldn’t want to go any bigger. It wears large especially the Polar...but it is a truly proper Rolex tool watch. Tough as hell and GMT Function to boot.

Explorer II is an amazing watch. I think your wrist is large enough to pull it off. It just comes down to personal preference.

But if it were me, I would go with the 16570. My wrist is a shade over 7 inches and if the 216570 were any larger it would be too big for my taste.

The Polar looks best in 40mm. The 42mm Polar looks too big.

The 42mm looks better in black.
