I don't have any nice cars, but do have a question for those using the Porsche analogy. I'm sure you couldn't always get the exact Porsche you wanted, but could you pretty much buy any model you wanted up until a few years ago? I have a feeling you could not do that. However, up until 2017'ish, you could walk into any Rolex AD and buy ALMOST anything you wanted. People are acting like today is the way it's been for the last half century. Far from it, this is a recent change. I bought my BNIB subC date from a grey in 2016 for $7200. Tried it on multiple times, in multiple ADs before purchasing. Either way, good job Rolex, you figured it out.
