Crazy to see how the 6241's popularity rose in such a short time span

OMG!!! I love all those vintage chronos. I need to re-evaluate my grail and try to find what I think will be a very hard piece to find. Wow.....

I wonder how the author who has created a masterpiece of Rolex history managed get the name wrong when showing the Pan American GMT. He refers to it as Pan American International Airlines when in fact that name never existed. Pan American World Airways, Pan American, and finally Pan Am were the only names for that now historic airline.

i always find the old rolex more fascinating, even more beautiful than the current designs.
for me, the ref. 6062 'Bao Dai' (complete cal w/ moonphase) is the most beautiful rolex. even more beautiful than the Daytona. there, i said it. if rolex would revive this model, stainless steel, even as a cellini, i would be all over it. |

The asking price for this book on Amazon is more than a new Submariner!?! Admittedly currently out of print, used ones are changing hands for vintage Rolex prices...
