Probably a PP Perp Cal Chrono like a 5270, but that would be an endgame watch for me when I'm done collecting and rotating, so hopefully a few years off yet.

Omega Grey Side of the Moon. Easily obtainable, but i have enough large watches on strap at the moment so that needs to sit on the sidelines.

Then theres the Lange 1 or Odysseus at retail.

YG black sub. I've always wanted one, but I just always find something better to spend that kind of money on.

Realistic grail is a plastic cup.

Go big or go home!

The point of the grail is that you always search and never actually get it.. If you actually get a grail something has gone wildly wrong/sideways in your life.

Totally, this is why it feels like I will never actually receive the green dial Daytona. I just keep waiting and hoping...

I hope to end this entire fun collection with a one of one custom dial FP Journe Resonance in a few years. That would be a helluva note to end on.

Probably a batman or batlady, I like them both.
or a white dial sky dweller.
But I'm good for now.

My Rolex specific grail is a vintage GMT. My non-Rolex grail was the Lange Zeitwerk which I was lucky enough to obtain recently.

I know it’s crazy, double retail now, 90-100k. Platona is going nuts as well, 85k!

I had three SS Daytonas between 2000-2008(white 16520, both colors of 116520)but no longer had the contact I got those from. Last year I decided I really wanted a ceramic black dial and was pleasantly surprised when my SA told me he could get me one in a reasonable amount of time. It turned out being nine months and its delivery even has a fun story behind it that makes it even more memorable.
So I now have what I want. A Daytona, a BLRO, a special Speedmaster, and a few more Seiko divers and some interesting micro brand watches. I have no desire at this time for any PM pieces or any haute horologie brands. Anything else I obtain in future will be icing on the cake. I have asked for a new OP41 in red, because whimsical. Shouldn’t take too long but I’m not impatient for it either.

I think my grail would have to be something on leather. Maybe a Patek 5270.

I also love the Patek 3940. If that was a stock, I would say that very undervalued and one to hold for the future.

Always envisioned a DayDate 40 as my retirement/grail watch. Just seems like a great way to close out my professional career.

Most of my grails are unaffordable. I will likely never own them. That's why they're called grails.

But, the Patek 5066 comes pretty close.

Never say never, that's the beauty of grail watches... once you finally get it you find another grail to work toward

NIB 16710 Coke with 3186 and stickers. Not really a stickers freak, I just want a 16710 that has never been on a wrist before.

Realistic (I’d like to think)would be the new SS SPeedmaster 321

Unrealistic would be a COMEX Sea-Dweller.

For "realistic" I have to put a spend limit on it, there's too many super high end watches I really like. But then it's a once in a lifetime watch, so I'd be willing to spend more. Let's say $50K is my absolute top, including taxes and whatever else.
1. WG DD, Green Dial
2. A Lange One Moon Phase WG, Black dial
3. AP, RO Chrono, RG, has to be on leather.

Probably a CHNR or an VC Overseas with a blue dial. I’m years away from that though
