I always enjoy seeing a bezel not lining up at 12. Means people actually use their bezel for something useful. Probably just for cooking pasta, but still.

Think you mean the bezel and not the dial but many must have the bezel aligned within a cats whisker of the 12 marker as they think if they dont there watch will self destruct.

Its OK to have a misaligned bezel if you are in casual clothing, tee shirt, jeans etc. However if wearing a suit and tie it is imperative that the bezel be aligned to 12 o'clock precisely.

(Its not the fact I read these threads that worries me its the fact I sometimes comment on them that really scares me.........)

I prefer it to be lined up if I am not timing something. I typically return it to 12 when I am done. Don't know why other than habit and I like the look.

Am I the only one who doesn’t care...

VC made a feature out of a wonky dial

My distress-rate with this watch is 10 out of 10.

And re the bezel - mine is always 100% aligned, otherwise my ocd kicks in. My partner doesn’t even set the hands on his watch at the right time. Grounds for divorce surely!

Man I had a from afar love affair with that VC H A21. Just a bit too big for me, but the platinum w/blue was really tugging at my wallet.

I’m sure it has its admirers and its charms... not for me though

I use mine regularly when I am cooking so I know how long stuff has been in the oven or on the stove, so its regularly off centre. It drives a few of my pals crazy but it I think they are the crazy ones :)

I use my bezel as a date function. It is never at 12.

honest mistake i'd rather him call his bezel a dial and actually appreciate his watch than post asking how much more it'll be worth in 10 years.

Not that it matters much, but I never understand 1675s, 16750s and 16700s where the bezel never moves, you could have paid a lot less for a 16570 if that's what you wanted.

I think it’s just you!
However, if it doesn’t bother you wear it the way you want to!

When it's that far off, it tells me it's used.

But when monsters do this, it's a different story
