I don't have the 43mm as I have a 6.5in wrist, but I'm a fan of the sea dweller, as I have a 1665 and 116600.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your great piece. Not the most popular sports model but one of my all time favourites.

This watch was never really on my radar but after having had a chance to try one on this past week, I decided to go for it. Bought one tonight - will be here on Tuesday. I've been wearing a 114060 daily for the past few years. It will be great to mix it up a little.

Thanks Rori, not my picture. I borrowed it from Rolex' website. First time I saw it I thought it was one of their best shot. Name: professional_watches_sea-dweller_mosaic_mobile_0001_2400x1100_1.jpg

What combo between the watch and the M steering wheel.

SD43 is cool watch and I like the red font but it’s kind of like a bigger Sub

I prefer SD4K. Kind of like a submariner but the difference is matte dial and no cyclops. And until the 41mm sub came out it was more svelte submariner case. Bottom line SD4K fits better on my wrist than SD43

Great watch but the cyclops threw me off. As long as you like it, that's all that matters! Cheers!

Huge fan. Red writing, nice bracelet, larger 43mm suits the Cyclops more....

Congrats.

The watch is sick. Is the perfect sub upgrade without being to over the top. Many people have wrists that are smaller so naturally less interest in it because of that. Matte dial, red text, and 60 minute markers around the bezel set it apart nicely. I find it very comfortable just as I did the original SDDS.

It is the favorite of my Rolexes. I have worn it to more places than any of my other watches. Even inanimate objects like it.

Thanks for the warm and positive replies. I have had mine for just over a week now and it fits well and looks good. I always thought the Sub was the holly grail but the Sea Dweller has got to give it a run for its money. I am a super happy owner of this fine piece.

Congrats on your new watch. I agree completely. For its size, the SD43 fits perfectly, feels great, and is totally comfortable as a daily wearer. I've been 100% happy with mine.

Picked up mine a month ago and it’s my new favourite.
Great fit and wrist presence.

It’s a beautiful reference! I just thinks it’s a YOUNG mans reference.... under 50 years old! I just think as you get older, the height and weight of the watch will be a bother!
