I'm on the list for that one and the platinum daytona as well. Good show! Hoping both of mine show up one of these days!

That's all that matters that you are happy. Haha, that's possible. But was nice to hear an owner admit that. Acknowledging not only harder to read than other models, but also that part of the flex is because it's a little harder to obtain for now. It's definitely a nice piece. My response was more for those who haven't seen irl as this piece looks better in pics (where as some models look worse in pics).

But Rolex is successful this time with the GMT meteorite dial. The GMT dial has only one opening for the date so it doesn't affect much the wholeness of the meteorite dial. The 18K WG and the Pepsi bezel really go well with the dial. Having a piece of meteorite in a GMT is also an inspiring idea. I have had my GMT meteorite for sometime now and while it is not the best choice for a daily for me, it never fails to make me admire its unique, beautiful dial whenever I pick it up.
Yes, good point on the Daytona. Would be interested to hear why not a good daily for you - because PM or because of dial/legibility? Just briefly saw your collection after posting question. I can see why...you have an extensive collection and so many nice pieces to choose from.

That dial probably passed by the moon on its way to earth and Rolex factory! :)

Congrats on that beauty. My favorite meteorite dial.

Extremely please with my AD, he has really looked out for me this past year. I’ve been fortunate enough to be allocated a 116500, 116508, 116610lv, and now this.

Next up is the 116506.
Why stop there? 116595 RBOW!

Yes, when side-by-side with my 116500 it is not as legible but when on my wrist I find no issue. Also, agree that part of the flex is the obtainability but that is with most things these days unfortunately.

I have caught more people looking at my wrist while wearing this than my other watches, like my Daytona. I'm inclined to think it is the pepsi because the blue/red colors pop much more than my black 116500.

100% that is with most things. And this one is a great subtle one. Yeah, the blue/red bezel is amazing. I didn't quote you directly on your other variations of green thread, so you may not have seen my question yet, but if you can respond when you have some time, would like to hear...

Between this and your YG Daytona with green dial, which do you like better? Also, can you describe/compare this dial with 116610lv dial since you have both? I haven't had a chance to see the dial on that daytona yet.[/QUOTE]
