I always sleep with a watch, except when I wear a dress watch on a strap and with no lume.

At night I wear a very bright Tritium MARATHON Navigator Pilot watch. With my bad closeup vision, the brightness is perfect to see the time, although blurry, if I awaken at an early hour. Tritium brightness makes it far easier for me to read than the less-than-adequate Superluminova watch dials.

Being retired, there is no need for us to use a digital alarm clock/clock radio, which always lit the room up too much anyway.

Wear it 24/7 always, keeps the watch at an even temp.
The only prob, is that distinct edge found on the plastic glass, when returned from a rolex service with new glass fitted, gets gradually rounded away again by the sheet or duvet cover! You have to insist only one to wear a rolex when both in double bed, because that's when watches get marked by sometimes coming into contact.

My misses loves hitting my watch with her diamond rings in the bed drives me mad.

90% of the days (and nights) of my life I've worn a Swatch so I am hooked on being able to tell the time at night. Without glasses I can't make out the time on an alarm clock so a watch is my only option. I hate waking up in the dark and having no idea if it's 2:30a or 5:30a. In some ways you could argue night is the time where a watch is most valuable. During waking hours there are almost always other sources of time. But I've never found a metal bracelet watch that I can stand having on me 24/7. I will literally take off the Speedy or Sub and put on the Swatch to go to bed.

I do not sleep with a watch on unless I am unexpectedly (but hopefully surreptitiously) sleeping at someone elses place I don't know well....

Very rarely. Sometimes in a hotel or when backpacking/camping so I don’t lose it.

I figure my wrist and my 114060 only have a finite number of days together. It stays on.

Your reasoning reminds me of a Theo and Harris episode (youtube channel) where the guys discuss whether to wear fine watches to the gym or not. The guy for the idea explained that he could die from a massive heart attack at any moment while pumping weights, so the Rolex has got to stay on.

I used to think sleeping with my watch on was a ridiculous idea - a hard, metal object hanging from the wrist - but I was pretty sick last Oct/Nov and in bed most of the time so I kept it on...all my watches were very comfortable and I learned a lot about lume. Amazing how long lume lasts.

Only when I fall asleep after a few too many drinks or just dog tired.
If i clock myself on the head through the night so that I awaken. Then it comes off pretty quick

It can't fall to the floor if it's on the wrist

No one watches when I sleep but I always wear a watch when I sleep!!! I've worn watches in bed ever since I owned my first. I can't ever remember not wearing one when I sleep!!! I agree with those who like Tritium dials for use at night as the Luminova is almost useless in the late night/early morning!!!

I also do. Lum is easier on the eyes than cell phone. Also a lot more convenient to flick the wrist vs reach for the phone.

As other say, less risk of dropping if it stays on the wrist....

Always have, always will. Sometimes, I rotate watches before going to bed. Shower with them too. Life is too short not to wear a Rolex. And it is not to check the time, most my watches are Tritium anyway.
