Dunhill...but genuine?

This - it's lovely to use, and I think the gold is real, but after buying this I noticed a lot of similarly-worked items out of Japan, mostly Dunhill-Rollagas-branded lighters and pens. So it might be a fake!

Beautiful! My dad just gave my husband an old Parker 51. He bought it before he left Venezuela in the 50s. Says it was his first nice pen. We love it!!

I’ve been enjoying this Franklin-Christoph #46 with an italic nib. This is my first F-C pen. There will be more, not doubt.

I have a handful of the FCs and all of them are better than I expected they would be. I really like their italic nibs also.

I love that green FC! Nice Tudor also!

Thanks. Have you tried their “SIG” nib? I gather it writes somewhere between a stub and an italic. They have a big desk pen coming out that I think I may order with this nib.

Yes, and the SIGs are very good. You can buy them separately and I highly recommend them.

Have not heard about the desk pen. Let us know how you like it.

Today it's one of my Sheaffer Tuckaways that was most likely made in 1945. It is the second from the left.

The Blue Mamba (Aurora) came in today, so that’s the one I am playing with the most. Here it is with the new 36mm Explorer.

Today I use my 2018 Montblanc Homage to Homer fountain pen. I especially like the 149 nib of the pen, and I pair the pen with the Homage to Homer ink

I picked up a nice travel pen from Goulet.

It is brass, so the finger prints are rough now, but someday . . . .

Today, I use the Montblanc Johann Strauss fountain pen. It was a gift from my father, and I have been loving it since then.

AIKIN LAMBERT & Co No.1 gold and abalone Art Nouveau circa 1890-1910.

The nib is a extra, extra fine to an easy 1.4 mm wet noodle. Yep, it is an eyedropper.

I have been using a Waterman Hemisphere Deluxe Chrome ballpoint pen for the last few years, this is not the most expensive model but I love this design and it writes the letters beautifully. I do not plan to change it to another option yet...

Still the 144 but it's getting low on ink.

I've noticed that people on this forum tend to get Montblanc pens. I've owned some, but, having lived with them, would not consider them the best overall. In fact, my Lamy 2000 is much better. Why do people still gravitate towards MB? Status?
