1) This watch is beautiful - I know a couple of people that own it, it is such a unique watch and big improvement over the basic sub

2) This watch, in many ways, has a lot of the same ideas as the TT Explorer (with the big exception of size) - I think that watch will look great on a lot of wrists

Anything, even clean microfiber will scratch the gold parts.

Not saying to baby your watc, but this will ensure you get a nice patina instead of many random scratches.
Great tip

I wear my 126613LN at work, and I end up scratching the bracelet against my desk often (I have a bad habit of sliding my hand across my desk to pick up my phone). I’ve just accepted it, it’s fine since I can’t see anything unless I bring it up close to my face.

I'm astonished at people who buy a black steel Sub at market price when they could get this beautiful TT Sub from AD. I can understand if they don't like TT, but else they are crazy.

That is exactly how i felt

And i do like the gold - adds that little extra something when wearing a Rolex.

Looks especially good at night and in artificial lighting.

Things will change soon, a lot of young guys are starting to buy TT now. This steel craze will settle down soon, TT sports like Root Beer, Bluesy, and Bumblebee are better looking than the steel variants in my opinion. On the other hand Classic Rolex like Sky Dweller and DJ, also Daytona steel looks better than TT.

Wouldn't mind seeing more TT in the wild.

Can't get my eyes off this beauty

Very nice photos of the LN! One day I prefer the bluesy, another day I prefer the the TT LN. Unfortunately I cannot have both. Sigh. I find the LN classier but I also like how playful the LB is. Please keep the photos coming!

OP: Did you prefer the LN from the very start? Or did you also go through the LB or LN dilemma? What made you decide if you had the dilemma? Thanks.

The black TT was one of the pieces that drew me in. Classic, and amazing!
Congrats!

Thanks!

I prefered the LN from the very start. Saw them both in the flesh, and thought that the LN would be more versatile for my lifestyle. Goes with anything really.

But i do love the LB as well - i have a TAG in that color scheme, but find that a little harder to pull off with my style of clothing. Does look awesome in the summer with a fresh white T-shirt though

Pictures of the day.

PS: Yeah, i do have a tiny wrist :)

Thank you! Those photos are beautiful! I have a 6.4 wrist myself but am used to wearing larger timepieces. I have seen the LN and LB in the flesh as well and I swear, am split 50-50 not even 51-49

Join...the dark side...

Can't wait to see which one you decide to get.

I guess that also depends what kind of models you already have.

I agree! I am quite anxious too but it will be a bit of a wait (was told not too long), which I don’t mind.

Congrats!

Rolex really did an amazing job with this update to the Submariner/Sub Date line. I have a feeling all these Subs are going to become even more popular once starting to get on more and more wrists
