All the Guzzi v7 bikes are beautifully designed standard bikes , but grossly underpowered.

Thanks for the reply. It seems many mention this but it's a non issue for me as long as there is enough low end torque which it seems to have.
I'll be driving city only (HK) so a lot of power is pretty much wasted.

Thanks

My weekend project has been putting up a 6’ x 10’ topo type map mural, and in process of marking moto trips and vintage car/hot rod tours. Motorcycle travel makes up about 90% though. Guess I’m not much of a flat lander on a moto trip …………………..

Good to see this thread back around. Links to photo galleries of the more interesting trips lately.

Continental Divide Ride, Bitterroot Valley MT to CN border, then to NM, back to Bitterroot Valley, 3,100 miles dirt roads, 1,200 pavement, some of the most remote areas in the US …………….. solo. The Continental Divide Route was epic in a life changing way, words can’t describe the beauty in these remote areas !

https://dlrides.smugmug.com/Travel/C...ide-Ride-2020/

The Bighorn Mountains of WY, across the scrub land to the Black Hills of SD and WY, then through the Badlands. 2,100 miles of dirt roads, 1,200 pavement.

Cool! I just sold my Panigale and bought a Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro, which should arrive next week. Unfortunately just had major surgery to remove a tumor from my thigh, and probably won't be able to ride for another couple of months. I also have a BMW R1200GS Adventure.

Purchased this 2000 Bimota DB4ie new. Unfortunately I don’t ride it much anymore. I have a Ducati Hypermotard 1100 which is more my cup of tea at my age. In this picture, heading to the Rockstore in the Malibu mountains for breakfast and coffee.
