Richard Branson purchases Rolex, renames it Virgin-In-Time and releases the "Cosmonaut" Daytona.

Elon Musk retaliates by installing G-Shocks in all Teslas.

It's true....my AD said so

-Introduction of the YM37
-Introduction of the 22xx movement and Syloxi spring (big technical change)
-Increase in size from 26mm to 28mm for smallest ladies' models
-39mm Explorer I
-OP34, which deserves recognition because a) it bears little resemblance to its predecessor and b) it's the first time that the 34 has shared a movement with the 28/31 vs. the 36
-Materials changes also worth mentioning in the case of firsts (SD TT) and 1:1 swaps (YM and GMT dropping YG from TT/PM and replacing with RG/WG)

I've heard on pretty good authority that Rolex is going from 2,000 embroidery stitches per sq/in to 2,500 - for their Rolex hats and small animal outerwear products. This is a big deal because Dr. Wilsdorf was often quoted as saying that anything above 2K stitches was a "fool's errand" or "Das ist blöd!" when this topic had come up.

Bad news is that there is a 3-5 year waiting list for this stuff.

Updates for the Milgauss and Air King, hardly a rumour but expected nevertheless.

Other than that just long queues on non existent waitlists for non existent watches.

I expect that if both watches are continued, they will no longer share a case/bracelet. The AK, which sells for significantly less, still has all of the MG's antimagnetic protection, presumably since it's easiest to just replicate vs. reengineer. So I'm assuming it will share a case with something else (OP41, Exp36 or even OP34 all good candidates).

Order with your BRO program!

If you order a bundle with your BRO, the Rolex word on the dial will become BRolex with the "B" inscribed in diamonds free of charge. Bundle must include 1 model of AD's choice and 1 model of customers' choice.

If a set of real-life twins order, jump wait list automatically to first in line and 20% off MSRP.

Hard to get excited about stuff which is really not available to the general public. Waiting years for watches is not much fun.

This actually has some credibility to it. Probably to take on the likes of the JLC Master Control Series.

The current Cellini line being the base watch.

I could see that. I could also see engineering a Cellini case around the SkyD movement as a different dress complication. At least that would make sense if Rolex wants that line to try and match “big three” semi-complicated offerings.

For 2022? Easy. More nicknames. And a GMT Coke, because Rolex are always bringing the Coke back next year and '22 will be no exception.

Not sure on rumors but what I want to see is platinum Sky dweller or Submariner ice blue dial of course.

Bigger safes, smaller displays, and watches without movements.

I hope so!! Honestly, I think a full bracelet platinum SkyD would be like having a boat anchor on your wrist.

We shall see.
