I love them as well. They’re very responsive and accommodating. Note, though, that their prices are now about EUR 55k. That said, they have something special coming so I would contact them if you are interested.

It’s a big turn off for me, if I’m honest. Being personable and responsive goes a long way; the connectedness is part of the charm/draw of getting an independent in the first place.

Just to call special attention, Santi from AdC and Sartory Billard where extremely responsive and patient.

Curious what happens with Urban Jürgensen. I liked their 'One' model, and I wonder whether it's going to make a come back, maybe modified in some ways.

I can't wait to see what is coming within these 2 years under Kari's new leadership, and it is also going to be a real test to Kari's business acument and leadership. His watchmaking abilities has been repeatedly proven by 8 GPHG awards, but how about his skills in business as the new CEO of Urban Jürgensen since his acquisition? Can't wait to it. Time to tell your AD to reserve one!

I think Sartory Billard does some very exciting work, and while Armand Billard isn't as much into movements and movement finishing as other independants, his approach to dials, designs and customization is up there among the best.

His dials in particular are up there among the likes of De Bethune, Kari Voutilainen and the likes. Which makes sense, since his dials are made in partnership with Comblemine, the dial maker for owned by Voutilainen.

It was a pleasure to work with him on designing my SB05, which I should get soon.

This is an older watch, but I have recently been smitten by the Ludovic Ballouard upside down. Saw it in the flesh and it is eclectic but gorgeous.

Every number apart from the current hour is upside down on the dial. The hour discs rotate when it’s their turn.

Not only that, the "right" hour has a white dot appearing to catch the eye at a first glance.

Simon Brette is damned impressive, love his release this year. Likely will never see one in the flesh but that's okay. I also have a hankering for an Armin Strom piece.

Moser, they are all so beautiful
Laurent Ferrier’s Traveller seems like the next step for my dual time obsession
Parmigiani Fluerier, always a sucker for Grande Date Chronographs
Oris
Sinn
Gronfeld Deltaworks 1969

May add to this list. Not enough coffee yet to activate my entire brain.

I recently acquired Ressence (Type 8) and will be buying other pieces from them. Love what they’ve done with the ROCS system.
