Green!

You can always change it into whatever else (within offered variations) during next service

I'm normally not a big fan of green watches but I really love the look of that one. Go green!

Are they still allowing this?

Silver. Green is nice, but silver is classic and enduring.

Silver is the most overlooked DJ dial.

It is timeless when everyone gets bored of blue and green.

I'm sure there are a lot of discussions on this forum about watch winders (keeping the watch accurate vs wear and tear). Personally, I don't think it is something you need unless you have something with a lot of complications that can be difficult to set (moon phase, perpetual calendar). For a DJ that has time and date, you probably don't need one if you are wearing the watch daily, and if you are only wearing the watch only for special occasions, setting it once in a while isn't a big deal. Plus, I believe the process of setting a watch and being able to interact with it is one of the perks of owning a mechanical watch.

PS: For color I love the green and think it is a neutral enough green that you can wear it with a lot of different colors, but I think it probably depends on the types of colors in your wardrobe. If you prefer darker fall colors, I think the green will look great. If you wear a lot of pastels and bright summer colors, I think the silver is more versatile.

My wife actually had the same decision with her DJ between the olive dial and silver dial and decided on the silver (even though I think we both liked the olive a little better). She wanted a single watch she could wear for all occasions and felt that the silver was better for that.

Hope this all helps!

That green dial is special. I have seen it in person, HOT.

What colors do you normally wear? It would go great with any navy, grey or white. I'd only be cautious with reds/oranges. But, a watch is an accessory and you shouldn't worry about matching your clothes with the watch dial anyway.

Thanks again!!!! I love this forum!!!
Very classy combo! Would love to see a pic of this duo.

Yes, as far as I know. I am not aware of any changes to this policy. One could confirm with the closest RSC though.

Fantastic choice, and perfect combination with the Cartier Tank! That’s an ideal two watch collection, IMHO. Enjoy!

The Green dial is stunning but for sure less easy to wear than the silver dial which is timeless!
Go for green if you love that colour!
