This model is fairly easy to obtain. I was offered this at AD with 0 purchase history. I tried it on and loved it, the black and gold really popped. I initially wanted a Bluesy but after trying a gold and black model I like the more subdued/elegance of the TT LN.
I will say I did pass on the TT SD because I figured why spend the extra 2K for this model when I can get a TT Sub, I don't need the extra WR and the bigger size was whatever for me. I asked for a TT Black/Gold Sub instead and got that 3 months later from an AD (again not a hard watch to obtain). Love my TT black/gold sub. Perfect for me. TLDR: Don't get it if you don't want it. Try it on though see how you feel, if its a no, pass and move on. |

I appreciate everyone’s input on my question. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I decided to pass on the TT. I’ve tried to fall in love with it over the past couple days, and couldn’t do it. It is not the piece for me. Plus, as one of you said above, this is someone else’s grail piece. I know how happy I’ll be to finally have mine, and it wouldn’t be right to take that from someone else. Thank you again for your guidance. |

You have stated that you neither like nor want it, so don't settle.

The TT Seadweller would be dramatically better than the SS with the blazer/shirt you have in the first photo.

I am not sure if OP has even seen the TT in person, which is too bad, if he hasn’t. He did say the TT sub did nothing for him, and it did nothing for me either. The TT SD43 has a completely different feel. It’s a tough call and either SD43 would be cool. I like them both, for different reasons, but am faced with a similar decision. If the OP has other stainless dive watches, the TT adds a little sophistication, imho. |

I have not seen the TT SD43 in person yet. But, for my career and my position in life, that much gold on a watch would just not work. Nothing at all against gold and those who wear it; it’s unquestionably beautiful. I just can’t see it working for me in my field. And I definitely want this next watch to be my daily. I will still try it on when I get the chance, and who knows what happens then? |
