Showering daily with your Oyster….

I’m sure this subject has been discussed before, and people speculate about reasons for and against showering daily with an Oyster.

I’m inquiring about two things, specifically:

1. Is there any data showing that it’s ok (or not ok)? Ordinarily I reject anecdotal evidence, but in this case, even anecdotal evidence would be of some value.

2. What is Rolex’s position on it? Again, I’m talking about showering daily with it on your wrist.
