Congrats to the OP for the uplifting story -- it definitely gives a glimmer of hope to those who don't necesarily have a deep-rooted relationship with an AD.
Why is this surprising? Every single existing Rolex customer was a new customer at one point. |

Awesome!!! Sounds just like how I got my James Cameron recently as a walk in new customer. I know how stoked you are so congrats and wear it with pride!

Some AD's are starting to hedge their bets a little, like any business they are trying to forecast the future, I am not saying walk in and get what you want but a small percentage are just moving them on.
They are like everyone a little worried. Congrats solid. |

For those who have the wrist for a SD43, and you do, it's such a cool, rugged watch. Congrats, OP.

Very nice, major congrats! If you get bored of it, you could sell it for a profit and purchase what you really want (Explorer 2 or CHNR, or so it seems from your initial post)

That’s awesome, congrats!
The only problem with the SD43 is that now you don’t really need any other watches. |

Amazing story and thanks for sharing. I had my watch in a similar fashion, people say they wait for months and I got it (touch-wood) in a few days.
Sometimes you just get lucky. |
