I am in NorCal and the AD here is Stephen Silver. But I made my purchases outside of the US.

In addition to Vegas, I would also suggest NYC or Miami since both cities have a high concentration of ADs of various brands in addition to MB&F. May as well make it a watch trip. Call ahead to see what pieces they have to show.

My feeling is that if you like the MB&F just by pictures, you would definitely fall for it in hand. The styling of MB&F is so 3d that pictures cannot capture the best of it. And the flying balance wheel needs to be experienced in person.

^^^^^^^ Sooooo much this. Think of like the best manufacturers are standad board chess wizards... while MB&F is playing world-class 3D chess.

Good eye... I'm between a 18.5 and 19 depending on heat... and workout habits

Better off buying in Switzerland then because the dollar and CHF are near parity.

Besides that, can save the local tax too.

I have an 18cm wrist hence the guess. The 44mm size was always intimidating to me until I tried one on. And the watch looks more “perfect” on your 18.5 wrist. Cannot wait for 2023 to roll around and maybe gain 0.5cm

It felt great as well. Totally comfortable rubber strap and light... Surprisingly light in a good way. It will fit perfectly on your 18cm wrist. A very good choice IMHO!!!

I tried (with AD and directly with them) and no dice. Not even an idea on when you could get off a waitlist.

Man, does he come across well. I've seen him interviewed before, but he was especially impressive in this video.

Max truly looks after his passion... and Friends. I truly want to 'donate' to Max's creativity by supporting his efforts.

It is probably hard if this is the first piece via an AD. And the website was "Waitlist" as soon as it was announced.

My AD asked if I want to swap either my LMP EVO or LM Sequential EVO slot for this LM SE EVO but I declined. Since LMP >>> LM SE IMHO.

never go wrong with sequential or perpetual. but SE is the cheapest EVO line which is more accessible by the collectors. 101 evo will be on its way few years later. I guues 2024(10th anniversary) maybe? the 2023 allocation for most models are lesser from my local boutique even though the production has been ramped up(60-70 more), because three more boutiques will open this year.

Wouldn’t have been the first piece with AD (low 6 figure spend), but guessing the NYC market has lots of collectors with $$

I meant for first MB&F piece. Overall, my AD is telling me that most independents are harder to get allocation. And you are probably right that NYC is likely to be a hot market. Have you tried out-of-state or even internationally?
