It’s happened to me in the past a few times. It was a 16610 Submariner did it, but I wore a shirt a lot (work) the constant friction between the cuff and the watch, over time the cuff gets frayed.
I’ve started a thread about it over 10 years ago iirc. It’s definitely a thing if you wear the same shirt long enough with a Sub.

My 2002 911 Cab got maybe 6500 miles on the rear tires with normal driving.

Are you wearing these suits with a tee shirt. Heard Don Johnson also used to have this problem? Or maybe you are DJ and are now just rolling up your sleeves.
