Guess its elimination says something about frequency with which that watch was used for its “intended” purpose.

Yep a 93150 bracelet option was allowed.

I don’t believe Rolex shipped 16570’s pre-shod that way.

But it was an orderable option back in the glory days when you could actually make an order.

Yep. I think people would be surprised that, back when 4 digit watches were new, the price lists usually listed the price with a strap on many models, and then had a separate bracelet add on price. I think you could even get the Sub on tropic rubber into the ‘90s.
