That said, all of those official "logo" dials (Dominos, etc) were done years ago: Rolex doesn't go in for that sort of thing anymore.

with the 1% chance that this is actually true, I'll be steering away from Rolex.

I think Supreme did the same thing with a Sub in the past. It was not an official collab.

Funny watching so many people who do not realize that Rolex is now one of the biggest hype brands on the planet. I mean your "King" had Dominos Pizza on the dial...Oh but that was in the past, we don't count that.
Also people saying Rolex would never collaborate with a 2.1 billion dollar company like Supreme or a 17 billion dollar company like VF Corp but with Tiffany, LVMH, etc.. Guess which brands have already collaborated with Supreme.... Oh look, Tiffany, LVMH, etc... Now, whether Rolex would do a collab with Supreme or not is anyone's guess but hype sells and is one of the reasons that Rolex is so popular right now. Rappers, social media, etc catapulted Rolex popularity. Deny it all you want. From a collaboration perspective, I would love to see Rolex pick some amazing charities and instead of just giving money, do some collabs with them. I would definitely be interested in some of those. |

Tiffany is now being whored out with NFT and overpriced gold cons (I mean 'coins') and other hype products. Am still surprised Patek Philippe and Supreme haven't collab'ed as they do with Tif. Kid PP is falling behind the times. Then there's Ye.... What Hype sites do you visit?

I think this would damage the brand. The supposed collaboration doesn't really make sense.

That would be about as dumb a move as a luxury watch brand creating a garbage plastic homage of its most iconic watch. Would never happen :P
