Paul, now would be a good time for that home equity loan...

Rates are at an all time low, you know!

Congrats on Post Number 6000 Caroline!!!!!!!

As for the home equity loan... I live in California... haven't you heard about our housing situation? I think my equity is somewhere... oh... around $39.27. I wonder what the payments would be on a loan for that much...

Nancy, I know us guys need to be pushed and prodded and sometimes hit over the head to see the reality of a situation but we usually mean no harm!!!

It took 23 years of marriage for my husband to finally admit that!

I think it would be best to live with just Paul!! This way it's easier to torture him when you can focus just on one person!

I should have clarified.....I meant that "you" in the general sense referring to all men.

I sure spend a lot of needless energy trying to convince my husband that not ALL guys are the way he is! He doesn't believe there are husbands who actually know all of their kids' birthdays, who know how to keep clothes off the floor, or who actually care what color the dining room walls are.

Now, I'll give him this: he can fix ANYTHING! (Um, he just doesn't want to!)

Oh, and Allan? I think I'd like a snappy little convertible - you would love to drive my old kid-hauler, I just know it.

My sons are like that.....they all cook, clean, do laundry, shopping, bathe and put the kids to bed, remember their wives and kids birthdays etc. I don't know where they learned that 'cause they sure as heck didn't learn it from my ex!

Al can fix anything too....but he only fixes the things that prevent him from replacing them with NEW things!
