Jubilee bracelt looks nice. Anyone know what the taper is on the 41? Tudor usually has far less taper than Rolex. I think the new 54 only tapers 2mm.

The "configure your Black Bay" tool on the Tudor website no longer seems to provide the blue / black bezel options, just the new burgundy model.
https://www.tudorwatch.com/en/watche...c=m79230b-0008 This makes sense as I'm sure we will see the continued roll out of other variations to the updated Black Bay. Hope a blue dial, blue bezel becomes an option!

I tried it on and yes it’s definitely thinner and the lugs shorter and slimmer which I liked. The plots were a coffee-cream colour, much more so than the 79230.
Having said that what I didn’t like is that the dial is 1mm smaller and the bezel is slightly bigger and overhangs the case. The smaller dial and larger bezel is further exaggerated (in my opinion) by the wider inner ring/rehaut between the dial and case appearing much more pronounced and being at an angle instead of straight down. I’m left struggling to understand why they made all these changes when all we really wanted was a thinner case and if possible a non-rivet bracelet. Why also did Tudor not reintroduce a thicker/deeper bezel as per the original 7924 - it could easily have been done and it still wouldn’t have looked like a submariners bezel. Thus we still have the slab sides. In many ways (ignoring the METAS certification and the nice jubilee bracelet) I think I’d prefer the original 79220N/R which is thinner than this new one on the then oyster non rivet bracelet instead… One of these new ones came up on eBay UK and I was surprised it went for £500 less than retail…I was surprised that it’s already being discounted. Probably a pass for me. |

I particularly like how thin it is. Kudos to them.

When they release in the blue bezel with the non gilt stuff I suspect I’ll get one. Just not 100% convinced on jubilee on a river, I don’t like the rubber and the normal bracelet has the step taper which I don’t particularly like. Why they just couldn’t do a version of the Ranger bracelet is beyond me….. |

Tudor nailed it with the oval jubilee links.
