DD on Wrist. 36 and 40. Time to Buy?

Hello all,

Sorry for the multiple posts about this, and my indecision. However, this will be a HUGE purchase for me and I want to ensure that im making the most well informed decision possible.

I found a 36mm daydate, diamond dial, with card, for 24k. It’s definitely more than what I wanted to spend, and despite what people here have told me, I haven’t been able to find cheaper deals for the 118238 (especially with the new clasp).

Attached you will find pictures of it on my wrist, along with a 40mm I tried on which I absolutely loved. The 40mm is out of my budget, but it definitely does look stunning. However, I can’t afford it for 37k,, and after really thinking about it, unless I was super rich, I don’t think I could ever justify such an expensive purchase.

With that said, should I get this 36? Or hold off, be patient, and wait for prices to go down. And/or just find a different watch all together?

Thank you in advance and again sorry for so many posts!
