Mark, I just put a deposit down yesterday on a V series (new clasp) that was staring at me yesterday in the AD's case. And yes, SS - white dial!! The best part, 10% off retail.

If you discover the TRF vaccine, please let me know.

Easy peasy, doc.......a couple of extractions, 3 or 4 root canals, a buxom cleavage or two and that Daytona's home sweet home!!

I like the buxom cleavage part JJ! That alone might be worth the price of admission!

Hey Mark....I know I have been wearing Rolex for 23 years but it's getting crazy now.....I am going back to Baku in just over 3 weeks and I will be picking up an Explorer II black dial when I get there from a colleague who wants/needs to change his watch, I have another colleague who is a watch nut, he is on a waiting list in the UK for a SS Daytona but he has decided that he doesn't want to take it anymore so has offered me his slot....hard to say no so of course I didn't.......it is a madness......really......but is it really so bad when at the end of the day if the poverbial really did hit the fan you would get a large portion if not all of your outlay back...plus for all the time between purchase and sale you have had the pleasure of wearing some of the best watches on the planet......I do not feel guilty about it.....

Thanks for the reassurance Bill! And congrats on the Explorer II. A fine acquisition indeed!

For some reason, I just don't like the Daytona in SS at all. For some odd reason though, the WG version looks sooo nice. Is it just me or does the bezel look larger on the SS version and slimmer on the WG version?
