it is MASSIVE! Way too heavy for me personally. Plus, I'd be banging it on every door frame, house appliance etc. But if you like it, then go for it

On a sidenote: wouldn’t that particular model have to go back to Rolex Switzerland to be pressure tested?? It’s such a specialized piece of equipment.
Interesting point on service. May bring this post back up in a few years when the service bill comes in.. Will comment on your other point below.

I had not thought of that until Mystro and you brought it up. It is a cool feeling knowing nobody else will be wearing the same watch!!! Wearing this to the next WIS type get together for sure.

If any of my watches go more than ten feet under water, I have drowned. It is a fun piece and Rolex did something just to say it has been done. I like that.

Very true, but also done in a way that is livable. I have a friend who wears a DS4K. He never talks about watches. I will wear this next time we meet and wait for the double take.

Fingers crossed for you. I hope the true fans get a shot at one.

No problem. This will bash right through your door frame or appliance without scratching the grade 5 titanium.

And to everyone I did not quote; thank you. It's great to see so many positive comments on this unique and over the top reference.

Some observations:

1, It is not uncomfortable to wear. Like any well designed watch, I forget I'm wearing it until checking the time.
2, Coat, sweater and long sleeve shirt slide right over. Won't suggest the same for a dress cuff.
3, Domed crystal makes it tougher to photograph.
4, Works well as a desk clock

If I saw someone casually rocking that I would instantly know they’ll be fun to talk to! So cool.

I'm sure it would have to go back to Switzerland for special pressure testing. What I do wonder is if Rolex would insist on that at service time (and charge an extra fee) or give the owner the option of just a basic 300m/30 bar test at the local RSC.

Guy goes in store for a pair of earrings, leaves with a beefy dive watch instead, makes sense! Jokes aside, it's a fantastic watch. Enjoy and congrats! :D
