I wouldn't wear that TT Daytona myself but boy I would love to see it on my wife!

CHNR for me:

This one posted earlier is on my wishlist (for my wife.) She doesn't want another Rolex but in another year she'll be turning 60 _and_ we'll have our 25th wedding anniversary.

I posted that one earlier indeed. My wife and i wish both of you all the best and to be able to pick one up in time for the celebrations! It is such an elegant combination!

I believe the correct term is Rolesor?

Yes, the Rolex website further delineates it as Yellow Rolesor or White Rolesor, depending on yellow gold or white gold, respectively.

Nothing beats the TT Rootbeer CHNR. Single Handedly made the TT Rolex popular again. More popular, and better looking than some popular sports steel models.

Please share some of your bimetal pics and let me know of other steel and gold pieces that you think merit consideration.

I am also a child of the 80's and I personally love the look of a Rolex TT. I love my TT YM40 with chocolate dial. I am hoping this year to add TT Daytona. I want the 116503 with white dial. I tried on a new 12 series TT Daytona and I prefer the older smaller asymmetrical case size, the new one was bigger and I have smaller wrists.

I’m a SS guy but if I got the call for a CHNR or GRNR I would buy them!

Talked to my AD about both the CHNR and the new 126503 white dial Daytona today. (I'm the OP).

Come January the Daytona will be over 20K retail and the CHNR will be right around 17K. I figured these prices and the lack of universal desirability for Rolesor models would be in my favor.

Doesn't seem that way however. I was told the CHNR could be a bit of a wait and the new Daytona could be a long wait. Looks like I need to start looking for a 116 on the secondary market instead. I will admit, the small "improvements" on the new Daytona would be cool, since I've never owned or became attached to an earlier version.
