A lady with a large watch is a good look - it's a sign of confidence. Daytona is a very popular ladies model these days.

Kidding aside I think women should rock whatever makes them happy. I saw a lady in Vegas very petite wearing a 41mm LV sub and it looked perfect, massive lug overhang and all. All about having the confidence to wear it proudly!
Yes and no. The 12 Daytona doesn’t suit that lady but the DSSD suits Charlize. The 116520 white dial looks perfect on both ladies. So it’s not cut and dry.

We these bring me back. I worked for Movado as a college student back in 2002-2004 and we sold something similar with the pastel museum dial and matching lizard strap. Pink, blue, green, or yellow just like the Daytonas. They were hot sellers back then. Men and women would buy them but different colors did better with specific genders.

And do men, who refer to women as “chicks”, even deserve to wear a Daytona? Just wondering….

Then that is what you should have posted, rather than making a general statement. Women can wear any watch they want, just as men can. I sometimes see men wearing diamond encrusted watches, that I wouldn’t even want on MY wrist, but I’ll find something good to say to him about it, rather than be negative.

My wife wears mine quite often and I think it looks great on her. Jamie Chadwick is a Rolex ambassador and wears a Daytona from time to time as well, also looks great on her.

Makes sense that Jamie Chadwick would wear a Daytona. She is a race car driver…

I would disagree that this looks good on her as well. Not because of the size but simply because her complexion begs for a gold or rose gold watch.

My wife wears a 40 mm YM and it looks great on her. She could easily pull off a Daytona.

What percentage of men or women actually understand and/or utilize a Daytona for it's intended purpose? Other than for show, they are pretty much obsolete.

That ship sailed a very long time ago, and can be said about many Rolex models, non-Rolex models, and everything from pickup trucks to cowboy boots.

Katie George wears an 116500

She also has a Rolex AD Sponsorship

Most of the sports catalog looks great on women. SeaDweller may be big for most women....and most men.

Subs, Daytonas, GMT, OP......perfection

I don’t care for large watches on women, just don’t find them to be feminine.

I don’t have a Daytona, but most of my watches are at least 35 mm, many are closer to 40. I like the way they look and feel, and that’s all that matters.

Better? (Seems to be a true Rolex enthusiast - likely has every model in the catalog)

My AD is getting my wife a new Panda Daytona for her 40th birthday in the coming months. Her current watch collection is a TT fluted 41 Date Just, TT Black 41mm Sub and GMT BLNR. She much prefers mens size watches and I prefer them on her !

I don’t disagree, but I don’t consider a Daytona to be a large watch. My 42mm Seamaster is a different story.

People have the right to wear what they want but that watch is halfway down her arm haha. It does look a bit too big IMO. Maybe if she sized the bracelet a bit smaller it would be better though.
