My 36mm DD is perfect for my scrawny 7 inch wrist

Just under 7.5. Tried this watch on in YG.

And a 40 for comparison

James Gandolfini wore a 40mm Submariner Date, which was reported stolen.
And even that watch looked small on him. He should have gone DSSD (not that it matters now).

Agreed. I have a 7.5" wrist and have comfortably worn a 44mm Panerai and a 46mm IWC Big Pilot.
But in the Datejust/Day-Date realm, the 36mm is ideal because you see the whole package, and the bracelet shines as much as the dial.
For me, it's not a question of size but rather of presence.

Wow, you have the trio of very cool DD's! I'm especially loving that Lapis Lazuli on WG. So beautiful!

My favourite Platinum combination.
I could never figure out why Rolex never had it with the fluted bezel, to me, it was a no brainer.

My favourite dial combination, as all of it is very easy to read.

Because they weren't able to manufacture it. Some say it is challenging to work with platinum.

Hell Boy wears one. Me, I prefer 40mm even with a 6.5in wrist.

A few years ago, I was at a party and a family member was wearing his old DD36 from the 80’s.
I had to take the opportunity to snap a comparison pic.

Overall, I respect a SD36 on a larger wrist because of the president bracelet and proportions. I need the 40 though.

Love these Platinum and diamond pics! Now THATS some watch!
