Hi Alex - I assume the TT bracelet is approx another grand on top of that is it? The SS bracelets are usually about 600 quid.

I assume this is the new thinner 41?

Not sure how much exactly! I ordered it verbally, was too giddy looking at the watch. It’ll be there in 3 weeks I guess… I’ll let you know when I pick it up.

Yes much thinner.

I like it. But, doubt if it's in the cards for my little collection.

The OG will just have to do.

So with only 175 in the market what do we think the grey value of these will be? I'm guessing around twice retail but I doubt that many will make it to the market since I know if I had one I would keep hold of it!

Hi Alex, so what's your story with getting this watch if you don't mind me asking?.
I assume Harrods just called you as you've probably been a loyal customer previously.

Thanks in advance.

I think there will be another Harrods watch soon. Let’s see, but that’s what I heard. Maybe a pelagos…

Yes they did call me to come and see the watch. And when I saw it I liked it and bought it.

I also heard there would be a replacement for the Tudor Harrods after the 175th Anniversary version. If I were in charge I would commission the Black Bay 58 GMT with a green/black bezel insert. The Harrods Sprite!

I would do something like that too, but I’ve heard that it may well be a pelagos. Let’s see, but I heard a release date of 31st Oct

Pelagos would make sense. I wonder if they will do the Pelagos 39 in a green bezel?

Not long to wait if 31st October is correct!

Congratulations Alex, it looks fabulous. The green looks more subdued and less sunbursty in those pictures - I really like it!

Thanks so much! It is a bit sunbursty…. Certainly not as much as my Hulk though

I’ll try to get a picture when the sun decides to come out for a little bit

@alex.cicollo any news on the bracelet? Just to clarify, is it a new two tone yellow gold 5 link or is it the oyster style? As far as I know Tudor haven't made a two tone 5 link yet so that would be exciting!

No news, I’ve asked for them to let me know when it’s in stock :) not sure which bracelet until I see it sorry… and am travelling for work quite a bit this week and next, so I am not in a hurry….

Excited to see which will suit best!

Harrods a brand I would keep away from whilst the former owners sexual exploits are clarified. Buying a Harrods watch is like buying a jimmy saville tracksuit

Are you seriously comparing buying a watch to condoning child abuse?!!! What a sick post and argument.

It's not the watch's fault and it's not your fault. It's about the reputational damage done to Harrods by its former owner and the people who enabled it, some of who may still be in post. No amount of indignation will change this.

The timing of of any type of Harrods special release, your watch being an example, couldn't be worse. How was anyone (apart from those involved) supposed to know in advance?

I am more than appalled by the previous comment, and the reference & link to JS and child abuse. This thread is stooping lower than low.

I am utterly disgusted and sickened by the previous poster’s comments. And you should be too. I come here to talk watches, be supportive of others in this hobby, and escape a little from the real world. Not to be told by keyboard warriors with a holier-than-thou attitude that my purchase is tantamount to supporting child molesters.

Your attempt at helping & supporting the previous poster’s point of view is not helpful either. This is beyond sickening.

I'll behave how I feel is appropriate within the forum's AUP. It is not your place to tell me how I should behave to appease you.

Enjoy your watch. I'm sure it means a lot to you.

What means a lot to me is not to be called out on a public forum by associating my choice of purchase against support for a child molester.
