I simply don’t understand buying a beautiful watch and not wearing it. Unless you like to have plastic covers on your “expensive” furniture. Then, I suppose that’s how you’re wired.

If you are not in the business of speculating and selling watches… wear the snot out of it or move it on for something else.

I'll give the nod to the Submariner. It's just a beast of a watch and I enjoy the heft compared to the Daytona on OF or any of my SS pieces.

Bottom line is, there are always idiots out there that compromise safety for a wrist shot. Just wait until you get home.

I lost a best mate who was rear ended by another idiot who was messaging while driving, hopefully that never happens to you.

Wear what you want, when you want. At the end of the day, you can't take it with you. Enjoy them now.

Sorry for your loss but taking a wrist shot behind the wheel is a common pic on the forum. Lighten up!

Stationary steering wheel shots are one thing, taking pictures when driving is a whole different thing. Illegal in most parts of the civilised world, for good reason.

Just because the background is out of focus doesn’t mean he was driving….or am I missing something?

Unless you are hesitant about keeping it, wear it! And if you are hesitant, probably shouldn't have bought it....

I have multiple watches mostly Rolex and only one of the watches that I own is an actual real safe Queen. It's not an expensive watch it has a hesolite crystal comes from Omega the moon watch. I also purchased the moonwatch sapphire sandwich that's the one that I wear, the one with the hasselite crystal I have left it in the Box put it in the safe and consider it a part of my watch collection. A lot of my collection while I'm not wearing them I do enjoy seeing them so I draw pleasure from knowing that I have them in my collection and then I am in a rotational situation where every day I wear a different watch so that every watch does get worn when that day comes. I have other collections of things I don't even use I just like seeing and knowing that I have them kind of like baseball cards only I don't have a baseball card collection. I'm sure that is for the pure enjoyment of knowing that you have what you have.

Memento Mori (look it up).

I do and have fallen victim to worrying about scratches, etc. Wouldn’t recommend wearing it to sole sketchy spot (for your own health), but life is short and precious, and it’s just a watch…so F it; wear it and enjoy.

I'm curious to know how you came to the conclusion that I was driving simply because I'm in my car. It's possible that I was merely examining my various vehicles to determine which one would best complement my watch.

Karen's always assume and think they're right.

Great to see a different side and yes it’s nice to know we have and can wear anytime and also nice to know you have such luxury and that’s the difficult part is to balance things you wear and things you would keep as valuables
However the balance is when you actually say , it doesn’t matter anymore as life is short

Check his post history, it’s not the first time.

Last time he was taking pictures of the reflection his watch made inside the car, while driving. No, I couldn’t believe it either.

Because last time I pulled you up oh this 3 years ago, you were taking pictures of the reflection your crystal was making inside the car, while driving. It’s all there in your post history.

As I said before, my mate was killed by someone like you. Someone who thinks it’s OK to operate a huge vehicle while not even semi in control.

You do you, call me a Karen and laugh it off. But people die everyday because of people like you. Let that sink in.

Regards, Karen.
