No, 36 mm built closely to original Royal Oak. But it does wear larger.

Indeed they are, I love our 5711R just as much as my RG 44, which is a lot more strap flexible and fun.

Thanks, mate, the white subdials tie in well with the white on the camo.

Argh - gorgeous! Wonder how well the brown strap would work on my black dial RG with no white subdial tie-ins ...

I'm sure it will look just fine, the brown and gold combo alone is very classic now.

I've been tempted too but I'd prefer black gator with white stitching if the price was less indecent.

Yeah ... well .. .300/400 bucks for a rubber strap is pretty obscene as well

Anyway ...

The 5711 is awesome. This CE ROO I wore to Disneyworld where I was not concerned about scratching it or in any other way wrecking it.

Curious why you decided to stop looking for it? Did the 26574 scratch that itch?

Yes, my RG is my PM daily and really doesn't have a mark on the gold still after 3 years, best PM beater you can have with its CE bezel and rubber strap. The Nautilus I don't even dare breathe heavily on.

True but £220 for the camo rubber and £300 for the GP are fairly standard HH prices but £600 for a custom white stitch gator was just too much for me for a fourth strap, basically they doubled the price just for the custom stitching, must be some nobel prize winning stitchers they got over there in Le Brassus.

I now have two, the AP PC in SS with blue dial and the Grey AP ROO CE. Yes the itch has been scratched!

Neil those strap prices are way out of date. A plain rubber strap is now over £300. I’ve got a custom made blue GP strap being made right now by AP so should be able to give a real price for that soon also.
