I wear my watches in rotation to work every day. In Rolex, I have an Explorer I and an 114060 Submariner.
I’m looking forward to wearing my new 41 Datejust to work in the New Year. I’m picking that beauty up next Friday.

My view is, I worked hard for the cash, saved what I could until I could afford a quality watch and will wear it everywhere.

I just enjoy them.

The owner of my company wears a Sub Date 116610LN. When I was interviewing with him we were both wearing the same model watch. He noticed, I got the job. Coincidence....?

I explain how I am keen on watches, what is my favorite brand and why.
I explain that a Rolex is not the best and the most expensive watch as most people usualy think. If I know the hobby of my boss I try to find similar parallels and aspects which can help him/her to get me.
If people at that level in the company are willing to do that think about what else is going on...

I love watches and wear a variety to work. Most go unnoticed but I love looking at them throughout the day.

I agree that it is not normal, but luckily I was talking about just few people...

in my country it would be a bad idea. A lot of actual very jealous narrow minded souls that would Judge you for wearing it... I would not wear it if i was employed i think, to just not be in the attention at places i really do not want to be...

Wear it every day except when hunting or shooting.

I need the Explorer 2 for those activities.

Unfortunately I can not wear my SD to work. It is too tight under my dress shirt cuff.

I wear my 116710 LN GMT almost every day. The only other person I've seen that wears a nice watch is out Chief of Staff, who wears a 16610 LV "Kermit", but I don't think he knows the current value on those these days. I saw him notice my GMT for the first time today, though... Most people, if they have watches, wear G-Shocks or Suunto or Casio digitals. That's the Army side...

The Air Force side of the complex has several Breitlings and a several Rolexes, all Subs with one Coke GMT thrown in the mix. There are a handful of us, but most of the bosses/leadership don't wear anything particularly nice, except our CoS.

I don't feel bad wearing my Rolex, and neither should anyone else.

Do you guys wear Rolex to work?

My boss wears a timex and I wear a day date to work or my BLNR. She complimented me on it once...”ooh nice! Rolex!” And that was it. I didn’t lose my job.

I think its a load of crap and insecurity on a boss’ end if they have a problem with an employee wearing a watch that is a reflection of their hard work.

Wear mine in rotation. Nobody, except for someone who either is wearing a Rolex themselves or are into watches have ever commented on my watches. Most folks just don’t care.

I reluctantly wear my Batman to both places of work. In my experience, patients and co-workers are far less likely to notice it as compared to students. Even if they don't comment, I see the ones in the front rows staring at it.

I wear one of my Rolex watches to work everyday. Occasionally when I travel I may wear a Citizen or a Breitling but not because of the workplace, more so because of the city where I will be. I bought my watches for me and enjoy wearing them. I’ve never thought about or cared if someone had issues with my watch or judged me. As near as I can tell, it never affected negatively throughout my career.

I wear my Explorer II (white, 42mm) most days, occasionally a Sub or something else.

Barely anyone cares or notices.

how about you guys?
I’m a pretty junior sales/account manager and wear one daily. However it’s mostly covered by my sleeve. Either way I like to wear one daily and never had any negative experiences

My team mate, we're both in middle management rocks a WG BLRO as a daily. Always the best watch in the meeting room when he shows up.

To people who know its a 30K heavy hitter on a 29 year old wrist otherwise to most just a very attractive Seiko-esque sports watch!

Yes, I do. Rolex is a very common brand here and you'll see them all over the place on the wrists of people of all ages, from all walks of life.
