WC brings on fans who don't even follow football regularly. If you think that's simply my opinion, why don't you peek Twitter or even google the subject. Neymar and his antics result in Brazil getting ridiculed and people not wanting you to win, because he acts like such a clown.

and it's not my opinion about people wanting him to get booked.....coaches and players have been calling him out to get booked this world cup...that's a fact.

but yeah, of course, we can obviously respectfully disagree. No reason to keep on the matter

It was a good game; Brazil did what they had to do; and Mexico was on and off. In the end, a well deserved result.

IMHO, I was expecting a more intense game on both sides; but the result is fair.

Now, time to have tequila.....and order sushi as Japan - Belgium is coming up!

I think this one might go down to the wire, reminiscent of yesterday's Croatia-Denmark game. Hopefully it's a good one!

Looking froward to Belgium Brazil. And Belgium winning. Though I'm not a fan of either teams, I (for some reason) really dislike this Brazil squad.

I have always been a fan of Brazil - Until Neymar came into the picture and I'll leave it at that.

Great game between Mexico and Brazil - There wasn't enough Tri-Color to get the job done but I'm glad this side of the pond still has proper world cup representation.

Let's go Belgium!!!

Glad Brazil went thru otherwise this WC would just be too light on substance and star players, altho a surprise or first time winner is still looking a good possibility.

Willian listened to me after the roasting I gave him and had a good game, very lively and energetic and Neymar played well again altho his brain is still faster than his feet but he should be match fit now for the QF.

Great game, Mexican brothers!

Forward, Brazil!!

I don't like Neymar's theatrics but he has to do them or people will kick and slap him all the time. So it's not just about getting that player a card or sent off but about putting all the other players and the ref on standby that Neymar is not to be roughed up again or there will be consequences. It's how the modern game is played.

No refs ever change their mind after they make a decision but players still shout and scream at him because they want to influence his next decision. It is all tactics, and the number of players sent off for diving or cheating is miniscule compared to the number of fake yellow and red cards given out so this is a vital strategy nowadays, and one major reason why non-cynical England is so far behind many teams.

Pretty even so far. Belgium the better team but I have this going down the wire as well. The Japanese are more than decent.

Neymar suffered a dirty, uncalled for, step on the foot he just had a fracture. And... people are criticizing him? For theatrics? Were you the one that was stepped on? Can you feel/judge the pain in his place?
Give me a break. If you are criticizing Neymar that's because you probably never play soccer and if so, were not that good. If you are above average, even at amateur level, players will 'hunt you down' game after game. That player that did that should have been red carded immediately.

If you want to see a really clean match, watch Brazil vs Sweden final in 1958. It is available on the web by the Swedish TV since 2008, when they were celebrating 50 years of that great game.

For God sakes calm down. Learn something from your fellow Brazil supporters. For example, I disagreed with them, yet we respected one another and could cheer up afterwards. On the other hand, you want to attempt to start insulting people simply because they don't agree with you? You're acting childish.

Judging by Belgium's first half...this is not going to be a cakewalk to try and snag 2 and tie it up in 35 minutes. Holy moly, this is a huge surprise!

This world cup has been absolutely insane. This match isn't over but what Japan is doing right now is simply INCREDIBLE.

What the hell is going on !!!!!

I am just saying that whoever is criticizing the guy who suffered the dirty fault and accusing him of theatrics, then probably that person is not that good playing soccer. So you never had a target on your back. That is not an insult, in my book. If you think that I am insulting anybody, lets agree to disagree.

I am so glad England don’t top the table...it would have been embarrassing to lose to Japan and even if England beat Japan, we would have had to play Brazil! Losing to Belgium was good for England for sure!

Golden generation my backside.
