I started out with a 77 Datejust which i have recently sold. I am picking up a blue faced Sub from my dad later this month to replace the 77. I also will be buying another used Datejust very soon along with a New Datejust II. I am in hotel management and have been for the past 6 years....i work for Holiday inn express and suites. Befor that i was a heavy equipment operator for the operating engineers 101 out of Kansas City as i ran huge mining shovels and dozers. 9 years of that was enough lol....35 yrs old now

You meant, you've touched one, then gave it back to the AD! I've also touched several and gave them back to the DAs! !

That watch you have is gorgeous!

I've got the one to the left, whose red hand i set to my body's time zone. (I produce a morning radio show that has me wake up at 3am everyday.)

It's very cool that this forum has such a great mixture of people of all ages and backgrounds :)

I'm 34, work in advertising. I have a 79' DJ that belonged to my dear grandad and am hoping to pick up another soon (currently lusting after a 14060M non COSC). I also have a nice little 60's Omega Seamaster De Ville.

I work for HM Secret Service and have recently given up my Omega for a Sub Date LV. I'd tell you more, but then I'd have to ....well, you know.

Best,

Andy, 47, IT Support in local government in Birmingham UK.
SS GMT IIc. My first Rolex which I bought just a couple of weeks ago.
Nearly got myself a TT Submariner, but it when I tried it on it was just a bit too 'bling' and I was convinced people would think it was a fake as in reality nobody in my job should be able to wear a Rolex. The GMT is great as it's more discrete but still oozes class.

I'm an Art Director (Advertising, mostly Web), 30 years old, and I've got a GMTII (16710) and a GMTIIC (116710). Probably gonna sell the original GMT soon though - I love the IIc too much to ever take it off.

Nice. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one in Advertising. Which firm? I used to live in Chicago, moved from there to Amsterdam last year.
