Crown decoration wear

Got my black bay from a reputable seller here a few weeks ago (used in excellent condition- old ETA version). I love the watch, especially the big crown, which I think is its most unique feature. I noticed today though that three of the lines and the center dot on the crown were not colored in, or were worn off. I thought this was strange since the rest of the watch showed no wear. It's bothering me a little- has anyone else experienced this?

I had the same problem. My AD sent it back to Rolex who fixed it. On the plus side, they must've regulated it because it went there running an average of +6 seconds a day and now runs about -1 second a day.

I originally pop poo'd the BB Dark and thought I had to have a bronze. Bronze came and I let a friend who was behind me on the list take my place and never picked one up. Now I am thinking I really am starting to like the dark on leather. Not good.
