Big congrats Tom. That shot in the sun shows off the subtle contrast between the subdial and the main as well as a killer case. Nice find my friend.

May I ask where you got the strap from, and is it possible to take a pic of the strap laying flat, as I've been looking for a blue calf for mine

Pleasure, may I ask another question, do u have to size it yourself etc as link takes u to a Daytona, or do they have the 5524 size, also how does it feel against the original calf strap

Just ordered the right length for my wrist size, then the 21mm lug width. It’s a bit stiffer than the original, but still very comfortable. I haven’t worn it enough to break it in quite yet.

Thank you. Quality is good so far… Haven’t worn it in any extremely hot conditions yet. I used the spring bars from the original, just made a small slit with a razor blade

I know they have an alligator pattern… I’m not sure if it’s actual alligator though. I didn’t really look into those.

Looking at it https://www.jean-rousseau.com/gb/ does the exact same match as original calf strap on all colours, rectangle punch holes etc

I'll stick with them, also strap is only £140gbp

Thanks for all the info tho
