What kind of mounts are using to stack your monitors? That setup is awesome.
Also do you mind sharing the specs of your rig that you're running all of those on?

Edit... Also beautiful watches hahaha

Either way, agree market doesn’t seem to differentiate and agree that this reference will only continue to rise.
I care a lot more about construction being higher quality and more true to the original than the date of production, but that's just my two cents.

I tend to think that the 15202 is going to appreciate even more in the next couple years with all the hype and attention that will come surrounding the 50th anniversary in 2022. Assume 2012 is the keeper for you and 2018 is the investment piece given 2012 was still monobloc? The market doesn't seem to distinguish between the eras of case construction...
Spot on, nice to see someone else on the 15202 train. The 2012 is the keeper, I am afraid it will take the market a lot of time to discern the difference and add a premium to the monobloc. My thesis is more that there should not be a $30k gap between a 5711 and any 15202, that gap will close. At that point you can buy a 15202 and 15500/15400 for one 5711 today. I love Patek as well but in what world is that a $70k watch. No way that sustains given limited production, the AP AD in Los Angeles has not received one 15202 this year - albeit I hear the asia market is getting all the in demand models.

Thanks, I trade a lot of options and has been useful working from home! Did it on my own which looking back at it, wasn't that efficient. I used 6 wall mounts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1), they allow for infinite adjustment so it wasn't too bad getting all of it to align and have 6 24" Samsung screens that I ordered from Amazon that weren't too pricey.

The tower is a normal HP desktop PC from a few years ago. The graphics card supports up to 4 displays. Then I learned you can use your usb 2.0 ports to add additional monitors, so I purchased two of these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and that added the ability to add 2 more screens. No lag as long as it is a usb 2.0 port, with those you can add as many screens as you want without using your graphics card. Would have saved me a lot of time knowing that originally but the USB to hdmi was a game changer.

Thanks guys, it’s actually not my watch - I got a good friend of mine into watches and introduced him to AP. After a few purchases from them he was lucky enough to be offered this.

It’s now discontinued and AP confirmed yesterday that in total only 600 ever left the factory and the price on the secondary market has recently started to reflect this.

No way!! 26579CE is discontinued? That's hugely disappointing as this was truly the watch I thought I might have a chance at some day. I know the ceramic skeleton and ceramic perpetual skeleton are out of reach.

Do you have any good bits on what may be next in term of Ceramics? I have heard there will be a "15500 ceramic" which would be cool. But it won't replace the perpetual...

I don’t think they will. I inquired few months ago with some of the AP HQ about that, they replied no way it gonna happen as only one artisan is making the case and bracelet and the process is very complicated. So they won’t use a “basic” movement on it.

agreed, I don't understand why they discontinue super limited watches like that. if they only made 600 why not keep it in the inventory and produce limited quantities annually?
