What a stunner of a watch! This picture isn’t due justice for how great this reference looks and functions. Only trying it on during a recent visit to Paris. It’s definitely a want!

Incredible watch so creative to display the chrono timer like that to keep the balance on the dial. They did the same with the new annual calendar reference too. Both are on my someday i hope to add list.

I love their watches, especially some of the Senator models……. But what puts me off, is that co. Logo font…… it’s stuck in a time warp. Yes I know I’m very shallow, but it’s my opinion and that’s what this forum is for……

Tried this one on recently. I’m surprised at how much I like it. I think it looks far better on the wrist than by itself in photos. Plus I’ve always been a fan of two register chronographs.

One more. This Senator Cosmopolite is something special with the complications it has. Day/night indicator for each time zone, two time zone registers, power reserve indicator, the panorama date, and the IATA time zones (even the ones that are 15/30 min). Love the finish on the movement. Worth the price but a little out of my range.

I was finally able to try on a 70's Chrono yesterday and love the design but I could not get over the thickness of the case. I have owned two Glashutte Originals - the small SeaQ and the larger SeaQ - the micro adjustment is just fantastic on their bracelets - I wish more brands would implement this type of design - it makes the watch so comfortable and easy to change the size on the fly.

Super excited when GO does anything as I love this brand. I see a diamond bezel on the right and diamond markers on the left. Probably not anything I will be interested in , but I’m still looking forward to the release.

I think most people would objectively agree that GO is a superior product they're just too afraid to pull the trigger and resort back to the brand people will recognize on their wrist. It's insanity to me personally but glad it lets me grab the superior product for less.

The more I get into watches the more I find myself the opposite of what you describe, which is that I find myself enjoying watches that others do not even know exist. I would love to own a GO someday, and I really enjoy my Moser because it has a beautiful dial, hardly anyone knows what it is, and it is highly unlikely that I will even see another one.

When I first got into watches I liked Rolex, then wanted to dislike them because of all the hype I guess, then came to realize that regardless of the hype they still make a very good watch. I own a Sub and it is a hell of a watch. Objectively, it peaks my interest less than a lot of my other watches including all of my Omega (Diver 300, multiple Speedmaster, and a De Ville Tresor Prestige) and my two Moser (Pioneer and Streamliner). I also enjoy wearing my watches primarily on rubber or leather straps. Lastly, I find that the Sub case is quite flat on the underside, causing it to not conform to the shape of my wrist as well as any of my other watches. There’s a bit of a gap under each of the lugs on my Sub in between my wrist, so although it’s a great watch it wears the least well of all of my other watches.

Interesting you mention the strap comment. That's another reason I would prefer a SeaQ over a Submariner. Lately I have really been preferring straps to bracelets. I loathe changing out wrist wear on Rolex and Tudor's due to the level of difficulty and the fact that I am more reticent to nick up a high resale value piece.

I would kill for the two tone anthracite dial SeaQ on that cool synthetic strap.

Sturdy complex movement apparent in first setting.
100 hours reserve is pretty nuts and useful.
Big dial makes for a more legible perpetual calendar than many peers.
Steel and nylon makes it wearable in a lot of situations except the most casual.
It’s weird, it’s too wide, and it’s AWESOME.
