I agree with this. When I first saw this picture something definitely looked off about the dial. Especially the date window looks off. Also the small tapestry looks off too.

I felt the exact same thing.
I am not an AP expert, far from one, but I stopped to look at that jumbo twice and 3 times before reading this comment, but something looks off.
Bezel looks slimmer, tip of the hour and minute hands are longer than normal, amongst of a few other things.
I am not an expert but I have seen many 15202s, and if this is an earlier variant that I simply never have come across then I apologize to the owner, but I would double check that watch for sure just to be 100%.

Thanks! Some find the dial cluttered but I agree with you on the layout.

Great thanks to both of you for pointing out the problems with this watch. I got it home and carefully checked it against my other 15202. The movement appears to be identical, the most glaring difference is the bezel which appears to have either been incorrectly replaced or greatly over polished to the point where it’s dimensions are significantly smaller. I talked to the selling dealer and they said that the differences were likely due to the fact that this was a very early 15202 and perhaps a transitionary model. I said I was not comfortable with this and we agreed to return the watch for repayment.

Thanks again. I probably never would have picked this up myself.
