Thank you so much for this amazing thread! This thread is the perfect reminder that at the end of the day, these are all about being tools for our lives. I myself like traveling and adventuring a bit, al though most wont see my watch ideal for this, it does the job plus bringing a big smile every time y see it. Next year will be doing some asian exploration with it, Great Wall of China, Tokyo, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Shanghai and a bit more remote places in Japan. If I don't feel 100% comfortable doing this with pcls, I'll just switch to rubber. My one and only:

Thanks again!!

Perhaps staying in the saddle and not jumping while on the horse would serve you well.

Steve,

as many have said, this is the most amazing thread on TRF and one of the most interesting life stories I've ever come across. I just spent my Saturday morning reading and enjoying every single page. WOW!

Your story is inspiring and full of love, life, and passion.

I wish you all the best and hope we get to read many more of your posts.

The life is not always fair, but we come out of it stronger and just like the marks on our watches, the scars that are left help us remember of the life journey with all its goods and bads.

Again, my best wishes to you!

Tea

Steve - sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your story. Being relatively new to the forum, I have yet to read through this thread in it's entirety. But it has given me a new appreciation for the ultimate tool watch that Rolex can be. I've never seen anyone come under such scrutiny for a post on a forum (even a moderator criticized your IP locations, honestly troubling to me). There is great variety in human behavior and condition. But I'm happy to see that the thread itself has turned into an expedition of sorts that all can appreciate with some basic patience and understanding!
