As a 'per brand' representation, I have more Rolexes - TWO. My DSSD and a GV, still looking for a GMTIIc in steel at a reasonable cost. But other brands have single 'representatives' - one Breguet, one IWC, one Panerai, one vintage Seiko, one vintage Seconda, one Ulysse Nardin... Getting ready to add one Vacheron Constantin and one AP (maybe - for some reason the ROO's are beginning to rub me the wrong way).

Besides Rolex I think Panerai is a great brand just to change style with the straps and the extra weight

Used to collect Omegas but that's being phased out....

Thanks 777, but the batteries are Nicad, you plug them up for 24 hrs. and the charge lasts 4-6 weeks.

Thanks, very similar to yours. The white Daytona is great, but the Sea-Dweller has gone alot of places I wouldn't take the Daytona (dive trips). It's beautiful and a real workhorse.

Not me. There are far too many high end watch manufactures to hang your star on any one brand. Rolex is a solid, dependable, known factor, but it certainly isn't the Holy Grail or the be-all, end-all.

Well put. I think of Rolex as the Harley-Davidson of watches. All are very nice, and very-well-finished, but they are by no means the be-all, end-all. For me, 1 PAM, 1 Breitling, 3 Zeniths and counting.

But I really do like my Rolexes, and plan to keep them and baby them. Just like yer s'posed to.
