It is funny The Joker says Florence as my mother loved that city when she was alive,i think she might have picked there too. Me,on the other hand would like somewhere nice and hot and warm looking over sunsets and Pacific rollers as i love the ocean and seas.

I like moving somewhere new every year; so I guess I would love to live on a small yacht and just move to new locations all the time. I love NY metropolitan area, so other than being able to travel all the time on a boat, I guess I would stay where I am right now and take more vacations (which I will do once I am done with my PhD........)... |

The northeast shore of Oahu in Hawaii. Beautiful coastline and even more beautiful mountains. Is Robin's Nest for sale? Overseas I'd live in London.

Just outside Murray, Ky on Kentucky Lake where my weekend house on the lake is. (And if money were no object I would have a winter home down on the Gulf Coast somewhere. I spend a couple of weeks every October down there every year now).

Interesting thread. I grew up in San Diego and always wanted to live in Del Mar (who doesn't). The weather really is perfect. But I've come to appreciate the greenery out here. And I love the Fall. Of the East Coast places I've been, I'm quite fond of Charleston, SC. Never been there during the Fall. Guess I'm not sure. So many place I still want to see.
