I am truly sorry for her situation. Situations like this make me wonder why someone so good and innocent must suffer while criminals survive to ripe old age?
All my best hope to her |

Greg, please keep us updated. I know there is "less then" a 40% chance of full recovery, but that is higher then 0, and as long as there is any chance at all, we need to keep sending positive thoughts and prayers Gracie's way. Her and your family are in for a tough time for sure, but I sincerely pray, that in an amount of time, (six months? A year? I honestly don't know anything about this stuff) her treatments are done, she is fully recovered and has a happy and full life.

So sorry, Greg and Gracie and Family.
I saw the post a couple days ago and was too gutted to post, anything I typed seemed quite trite. Strange, even to me, Gracie has been in my thoughts to the point of waking up in the middle of the night with her on my mind. Give her a hug for all of us. |

Keep Strong Greg
Greg we have recently gone through the exact same thing this past year and all I can say is - Keep Strong Brother. Be there for your Brother and his family and be ready to support them any way you can.
My cousin's son Johnny was diagnosed with a DIP (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) which is basically a brain stem tumour. He was only 7 years old at the time and passed away in April. We tried everything possible with no luck. My best advice is for you to enjoy every minute you have with her NOW. Take her to Disney (or wherever she wants to go) and do everything you can with her. I can't believe that I can even write this right now. This is bringing back so many terrible memories....He died exact one week after his First Holy Communion...Life is so unfair. I can't say it enough - Don't waste time with false remedies and don't try obtrusive therapies. Go see her and give her your hugs and kisses. She will obviously be in our prayers and has been added to our parish prayer line. Keep Strong! |

Prayers sent. Often.
Please. Tell us about Gracie. What does she like? Dolls? Animals? Puppies? What makes her smile? What makes her laugh? What does she enjoy doing? These little things in her life will help us to know Gracie a little better. And prayers from friends, even friends on an internet board are stronger when we know her. Even if it's a virtual friendship. If you want to show her this thread, I will post up some adorable puppy pics for her to look at. Perhaps they will make her smile. Be strong, pray often. |

Damn, Greg! I just saw this horrible and horrifying tread...and I`m speechless!
What can I say except that my prayers and best wishes are with that little girl and her (and your`s) family. I really cannot explain how much I`m sad for reading this...life really isn`t fair. Again, my prayers and best wishes to your family. Hang on there.

Miracles do happen and I hope it will in Gracie's life and she will be cured. God Bless!!
