I agree, there was no real advantage to the French winning against NZ. I think England have an slightly easier route to the final avoiding the big southern hemisphere sides and i'm sure both Ireland and France feel the same.

There is going to be some tough games ahead, it should be good

That is a big shock, some thought England were going to go all the way. I saw their first game that thought that Jonny Wilkinson didn't seem 100%.

The RSA V Samoa game showed some weaknesses in the RSA's game and they lost thier way badly in the second half.
Is it now looking good for an AB or Wallaby win?

IMO the refereeing was poor.
Red card for a slap? The ref didn't even see it.
Too many forward passes not called out.
